Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving breakfast - YUM!

Jessimine made an excellent coffee Danish

We spent most of Thanksgiving working on and then performing a play (for our neighbors, the Getsches) - the story of the first Thanksgiving from Squanto's perspective. All nine of us kids had a part.

Ana as "Patience"

"Fishing Eagle" didn't want to smile

Stefan gave Jonathan an awesome indian paint job

 "Samoset"

more delectable victuals

Devotions on Thanksgiving eve included a lot of sword drills. Amanda won most. :) James 3:17 "The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere." We went around the room and said what we thought we needed the most work on from the James list. Then we told each other what we thought they needed most work on. It was sweet. It was serious. It's called accountability, and a family is one of the best places for it.

2 Peter 3:14 "Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace." Hebrews 3:13 "But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called 'today,' that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."
